Israeli strike kills dozens in Rafah refugee camp
35 dead, dozens wounded in Gaza violence
Palestinians evacuate parts of city amid Israeli warnings
An Israeli air strike on a Rafah refugee camp has left at least 35 people dead and dozens wounded, according to Palestinian officials.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it was targeting Hamas militants in the camp, but the Wafa news agency, quoting the Palestine Red Crescent Society, said many of those who died were burned alive inside their homes.
The attack has been condemned by Qatar as a "grave violation of international laws" and has sparked fears of a wider escalation of violence in the region.
Palestinians have begun leaving parts of Rafah after Israel urged around 100,000 people to evacuate the city.
